Post-Consumer Recycled Polyethylene
PCR PE is polyethylene made from post-consumer recycled plastics — collected, sorted, cleaned and re-processed into film-grade resin. Used in non-food-contact applications such as shopping bags, courier bags and general packaging, it cuts dependence on virgin resin and supports circular-economy targets.

How GRS & TC Work Together
The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) verifies the recycled content and responsible production behind a product. The Transaction Certificate (TC) documents that verified content moving through each step of the chain — which is exactly what your auditors and customers ask for.

PCR resin purchased from GRS-certified recyclers, with their own TCs on file.

Film extrusion and bag making within our GRS scope (Intertek TE-00352946).
3. Shipment TC
We issue a Transaction Certificate covering your order — film or bags.

What is the difference between PCR and GRS?
PCR (post-consumer recycled) describes the material origin — plastic collected after consumer use. GRS is a certification standard that verifies recycled content, chain of custody and responsible production. OLUNRO is GRS-certified, so our PCR products carry third-party verification.
What is a Transaction Certificate (TC)?
A TC is the official GRS document that records the quantity and recycled content of material moving from one certified entity to the next. When you buy PCR film or bags from OLUNRO, we issue a TC for your shipment, and you can pass it along the chain to support your own claims.
Can you provide TCs for both film and bags?
Yes. Our GRS scope covers PCR PE film and PE bags, and TCs are issued per shipment for either product family.
Are PCR films and bags food-contact approved?
Our PCR line is designed for non-food-contact applications such as shopping bags, courier bags and general packaging. For food-contact requirements, our high-barrier coated and metallized film portfolio remains available.
