The Range

One Material Platform, Ten Formats

Most suppliers will quote you a recycled bag in one or two constructions. We convert ten — and because they all run on the same recycled PE platform, a mixed order does not mean a mixed supply chain.

The formats below cover the ground most brands actually order: grocery and takeaway carriers, e-commerce mailers, boutique retail, promotional giveaways and bulk packing. Sizes and thicknesses are not taken from a catalogue — they are set to your dimensions and confirmed against the load the bag has to carry.

The recycled content is set per order, anywhere between 20% and 100% post-consumer, and the material itself is mono-material PE, so the bag stays in the polyethylene recycling stream when it is collected. What the film is made of.

Why It Matters

The Bags Are Made by the People Who Make the Film

A recycled bag is only as consistent as the film it is made from. Ours is extruded, printed and converted on one site.

The film is ours

We extrude the PE the bags are made from, so the recycled content is set at the material stage instead of being blended into a finished product by a third party.

One site for both stages

Film extrusion and bag-making share a site and a quality system, so a change to thickness or print is a production decision rather than a sourcing one.

Printing in house

Eight-colour and six-colour presses on a 1280 mm web handle artwork with QR codes and brand marks without leaving our own floor.

A documented claim

Each batch is covered by a Transaction Certificate, so the recycled content is evidenced rather than asserted.

The Material Behind the Bag

Bag-Making Is the Last Step, Not the First

Every bag on this page starts as film we extrude ourselves, and the bag-making runs on the same site — so the recycled content is set upstream, at the film stage, rather than blended into a finished product.

That matters when the claim has to be documented. A Transaction Certificate covers the batch, and it is the same chain of custody whether you order film or finished bags. Read the film specifications or how PCR and GRS fit together.

What is the minimum order quantity for PCR PE bags?

It depends on the bag format, the colour and how much print the job carries — so it is quoted against your specific order rather than published as a single figure. Send the format and the artwork and we will confirm it.

How long do sampling and production take?

Sampling takes around ten days for a standard format, and fifteen to twenty days where the construction is special. Production typically takes around twenty-five days after the sample is approved.

Can you print our own artwork on a recycled bag?

Yes. Print runs up to 1250 mm in multiple colours and we regularly print QR codes and brand marks onto PCR PE. Send your artwork and we will confirm the print size and colour build before sampling.

Can we order several different bag formats in one order?

Yes — and it is a common way to buy. All ten formats run on the same recycled PE platform, so mixing carriers, mailers and pouches in one shipment does not mean dealing with a mixed supply chain.

What if our size is not one of the standard formats?

The ten formats are the starting points, not the limits. Sizes and thicknesses are made to your dimensions, and a custom construction is quoted the same way as a standard one.

How is the recycled content documented on a bag order?

Each batch is covered by a GRS Transaction Certificate. OLUNRO holds GRS certification from Intertek (TE-00352946), so the recycled content is verified by a third party rather than asserted by the supplier. Read more about PCR and GRS.
